Sand art
Andreas Amador is an American artist who uses Google Earth to create his artworks. Why???
Because he carves his designs in the sand and he need to pick out the best beaches to do that. After he finds the beach he patiently waits for a full moon to make sure tides are low enough for him to complete his design before it is washed away by the sea.
He carefully sketches each pattern in a sketchbook and to create his works he uses nothing more than a garden rake. He carves the beaches for 12 years an he was originally inspired by the crop circles in the UK.
